Manjit (Mandy) Toor
Founder and Program Supervisor

Manjit founded Castle Mountain in 1999 after managing the centre as its director for 10 years. Manjit has a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and a Masters in Education from India, as well as her Level 3 child care education from Calgary, Alberta. Manjit was a teacher in India and immigrated to Canada with her husband, looking for further opportunities and continued education. Manjit's passion for education and child care led her to being nominated for the Excellence in Child Care Alberta award. Her passion and dedication is evident even by those in the community and among her staff and parents.

Gurcharan (Gary) Toor
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Gary is the brains behind the smooth operations at Castle Mountain. There is nothing that he cannot do or fix. He can be seen popping in and out of the daycare throughout the days (even weekends!), bringing supplies, grocery, shoveling snow, cutting grass - he does it all! With a Bachelors in Science and a love for children and their learning, Mr. Gary continues to support Castle Mountain despite taking early retirement.
